Abstract: The present invention is related to A single-use sterilized kit for ayurvedic bloodletting therapy (siravedha). this is a sterilized, disposable, single-use siravedha (raktamokshana) kit designed for performing Ayurvedic bloodletting procedures in a safe, hygienic, and standardized manner. The kit comprises a sterile needle with protective cap (101) connected to a pre-assembled IV-style tube (102) leading to a graduated blood collection bag (103) having calibrated volume markings for accurate measurement of expelled blood. The kit further includes sterile gauze (104), an antiseptic solution container (105), a pair of protective gloves (106), and a biomedical waste disposal bag (107). The invention converts a traditionally open and approximate bloodletting practice into a closed-system blood collection process, thereby minimizing infection risk, blood spillage, and biohazard exposure. The calibrated collection bag enables precise therapeutic blood volume control consistent with Ayurvedic principles. The all-inclusive, portable configuration allows immediate use in clinical, institutional, mobile, and emergency settings while ensuring compliance with biomedical waste management protocols.
