Abstract: Disclosed is a sintering system (200) for producing sinter-balls from an ore. The sintering system (200) comprises a plurality of drums 210, a multi-stage water filtration system 220, a spraying system 230, a rotating mechanism 240, and a pump-motor system 250. The plurality of drums (210) is configured for mixing a charge of the ore to convert the charge into the sinter-balls. The multi-stage water filtration system (220) is configured for filtering received industrial water and feeding the filtered water into the plurality of drums (210). The filtration system (220) comprises a first-stage subsystem (222) comprising a duplex filter followed by a second-stage subsystem (224) comprising self-cleaning filters. The spraying system (230) comprises water headers (232) fixed to walls (212) of the plurality of drums (210). Each water header has one or more nozzles (232N) for spraying the filtered water within the plurality of drums (210). The rotating mechanism (240) is configured for rotating the plurality of drums (210) about respective axes of each of the plurality of drums (210). The pump-motor system (250) is configured to supply the filtered water from the filtration system (220) to the spraying system (230).
