Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: A SMART DISPENSING BOTTLE CAP SYSTEM FOR ON-DEMAND MIXING OF ADDITIVES. The present invention relates to a mechanical smart dispensing bottle cap system, particularly a compact and quick dispensing bottle cap configured for on-demand mixing of powdered or liquid additives stored inside the cap with liquid kept inside a bottle/container. The cap comprises a two-component assembly consisting of a storage chamber and a rotatable tearing ring. The tearing ring is threadedly engaged with the storage chamber and incorporates an annular tearing element as a sharp edge projection. Rotational actuation converts user input into controlled axial motion, enabling circumferential tearing of a protective sealing film/membrane. This creates a full-aperture opening for complete gravity-assisted dispensing. The compact, low-profile design eliminates the need for springs or plungers and is compatible with standard bottle systems, enabling reliable operation and cost-effective mass production useful for a variety of pharmaceutical or nutritional applications in the field of agriculture.
