Abstract: The present invention discloses a smart wearable footwear system for real-time obstacle detection and emergency assistance. The system comprises a wearable footwear platform integrated with an ultrasonic sensor, an inertial motion sensor, a microcontroller, a warning unit, a wireless communication module, and a portable power source. The ultrasonic sensor continuously detects obstacles within a predefined safety range, while the inertial motion sensor monitors user movement to identify accidental falls or abnormal motion. The microcontroller processes sensor data in real time and activates audio and/or vibration alerts to notify the user of hazardous conditions. Upon detection of a fall or emergency, the wireless communication module automatically transmits emergency notifications to predefined contacts, with optional support for Global Positioning System location services. The modular architecture further enables integration with Internet of Things platforms, artificial intelligence, cloud monitoring, and mobile applications. The invention provides a compact, lightweight, reliable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective wearable safety solution that enhances user mobility, personal security, and emergency response.
