Abstract: A SMART WEARABLE SIP AND PUFF HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE A wearable human interface device (100) for hands-free interaction with a host device in the field of hands-free human-computer interaction is disclosed. The device provides an advancement over conventional hands-free interfaces by combining breath pressure sensing and motion sensing for user intent classification and low-latency command generation. The device provides utility by enabling hands-free control of host devices through breath and motion inputs, thereby improving accessibility, user independence, portability, and ergonomic interaction. The device includes a wearable support frame (110), a device enclosure (120), a mouthpiece (130) for receiving user breath input, and a sensor and electronics module (150) including pressure sensing, motion sensing, processing, communication, and power supply units. The processing unit processes breath pressure and motion data to determine user commands, maps commands to cursor movement, mouse actions, keyboard inputs, and control functions, and transmits commands through wired or wireless communication.
