Abstract: ABSTRACT A soft-gum subgingival tip for a mechanical water flosser is disclosed. The tip comprises an elongated rigid tubular body having an ergonomically angled configuration and a distal elastomeric portion with a rounded atraumatic end. The distal soft portion is configured to gently engage gingival margins and shallow periodontal pockets while delivering a controlled irrigation stream. The rigid body provides directional accuracy, while the soft distal end reduces the risk of gingival trauma and discomfort. A proximal coupling portion enables detachable attachment to a water flosser body while maintaining fluid sealing during operation. The soft- gum subgingival tip is particularly suitable for periodontal maintenance, gingivitis management, and post-treatment care, and represents an improvement over conventional rigid water flosser tips by enhancing safety, comfort, and effectiveness during subgingival irrigation
