Abstract: ABSTRACT A SOLAR POWERED GRASS TRIMMER WITHOUT BATTERY A solar powered grass trimmer without battery having a direct current (D.C) motor, a solar panel with 5 booster converter being connected to the device, a spring steel blade, a control switch and a wheel and telescopic adjustable wheels connected to the device. A cutting blade with a slot for cutting motion being connected to the motor and gear mechanism of the device for mowing operation. The switch closes the circuit and allows the flow of current to the motor which in turn drives the blade used for mowing. A barrel cam mechanism being used in a solar-powered grass trimmer without a battery to 10 convert the linear motion generated by the trimmer's motor into a rotational motion. The rotational motion further used to power the cutting mechanism of the trimmer
