Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention discloses a stand device (200) for supporting a vehicle (100). The stand device (200) is highly compact, foldable, and configured to be detachably mounted to a body frame (102) of the vehicle. The stand device (200) comprises a first leg member (201) having a first connecting member (202) and a second leg member (203) having a second connecting member (204). The connecting members (202, 204) are rotatably coupled to each other and to the leg members (201, 203) to enable the stand to fold into a compact form. A securing means (205), such as a slidable sleeve, locks the connecting members (202, 204) to restrict relative movement when deployed. The stand device (200) further includes flanged portion (209) for engaging a mounting provision (212) on the body frame (102), tread bars (208) for easy deployment, and base members (210) for ground stability.
