Abstract: A SUSTAINABLE HIGH-GRADE SPECIALTY PAPER AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF ABSTRACT A sustainable high-grade specialty paper and a method of manufacturing thereof are provided. The paper comprises a hybrid furnish. The hybrid furnish includes a first component which is a wheat straw fiber and a second component which is hardwood veneer chip fiber. The ratio of the first component to the second component in the hybrid furnish ranges from preferably 47:53 to 53:47 by weight, more preferably from 48:52 to 52:48 by weight, and most preferably 50:50 by weight. The paper further comprises a functional mineral filler of Ground Calcium Carbonate at a dosage of 12% to 13% by weight of the hybrid furnish and a dry strength resin adhesive at a dosage of preferably from 9 kg/MT to 11 kg/MT, more preferably from 9.5 kg/MT to 10.5 kg/MT, and most preferably about 10 kg/MT.
