Abstract: ABSTRACT A SWEAT-DIVERTING HEADBAND The present disclosure envisages a sweat-diverting headband (100) comprising a headband body (102) having a woven fabric (104). The woven fabric (104) comprises at least one hydrophilic region (106) formed by one or more hydrophilic yarns (108) and at least one hydrophobic region (110) formed by one or more hydrophobic yarns (112) disposed adjacent to the hydrophilic region (106). The hydrophilic region (106) and the hydrophobic region (110) define at least one moisture transport pathway (114) extending between a perspiration collection region (115) and a perspiration discharge region (116). The hydrophobic region (110) confines perspiration within the moisture transport pathway (114), while the moisture transport pathway (114) directionally transports perspiration from the perspiration collection region (115) toward the perspiration discharge region (116) through capillary action, thereby diverting perspiration away from facial regions of a user.
