Abstract: The present invention discloses a synergistic pharmaceutical composition and a process for preparation thereof. The composition comprises a phytochemical isolated from Aristolochia indica and a Janus kinase inhibitor, combined in therapeutically effective amounts to enhance treatment of autoimmune skin disorders. The phytochemical exhibits immunomodulatory activity, while the Janus kinase inhibitor reduces inflammatory signaling pathways. The process includes extraction of the phytochemical using supercritical carbon dioxide, purification, and formulation with the synthetic agent into suitable dosage forms. The composition demonstrates improved therapeutic efficacy, reduced inflammatory biomarkers, and potential dose reduction of the synthetic drug, thereby minimizing adverse effects. The invention provides a novel integrative therapeutic approach for treatment-resistant conditions such as lichen planus, offering a scalable and effective solution for improved patient outcomes in autoimmune diseases.
