MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641081392 A) filed by Athees Info Solutions on July 01, 2026, for A System And A Method For Estimating And Visualizing Chainage-Based Infrastructure Quantity And Progress.
Inventor includes Athimuthan Natarajan.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: A system and a method for estimating and visualizing chainage-based infrastructure quantity and progress is disclosed. The system (100) receives layers and structures (120) of an infrastructure project from a user device (130) and validates project-related data (440) by comparing geo-location coordinates (140) associated with a selected chainage (170). A cross-section (160) corresponding to selected chainage and layer is retrieved to derive an execution quantity from estimate data (445). The system updates an execution record (180) using the execution quantity and validated project-related data, and generates billing data (450) and a bill of quantities from a project estimate (175) and the updated execution record. A measurement book (185) is maintained through synchronization of project records. The system further constructs a graphical progress representation (190), indicates completed (215), incomplete (220), deduction, and gap portions (225), and assigns execution statuses based on billing conditions, thereby enabling location-aware quantity tracking and documentation consistency.
