MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641084969 A) filed by S. R. Ramadevi on July 10, 2026, for A System And A Method For Monitoring Using Event-Based Detection And Adaptive Recording.
Inventor includes S. R. Ramadevi.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A system and a method for monitoring using event-based detection and adaptive recording is disclosed. The system (100) includes a processor (105), a memory (110) adapted to store instructions that cause acquisition of video data (335) from a plurality of image capturing devices (130) through a communication interface (132). Access information associated with image capturing devices are consolidated through a centralized access interface by a master device. Video frames are analysed using inference to detect human subject, wherein facial regions and detected subjects are correlated across frames. Recording is selectively initiated upon detection of human subject. Image data (345), video segments (350), and metadata (355) are stored as structured records within a storage repository (135). The system determines representative images, performs facial identification using stored facial representations, manages data retention according to storage capacity, provides locally hosted services (140), and establishes remote connectivity (145) through registration-based tunnelling or relay mechanisms.
