Abstract: The present invention discloses a secure architecture, method, and system for securing data communications in an Internet of Vehicles (IoV) system. A vehicular sensor node (110) generates telemetry data associated with a vehicle. A communication layer transmits the telemetry data using at least two wireless communication links of different types, comprising a low-power wide-area link (140) and a cellular link (150). A roadside unit (120) receives the telemetry data, analyzes the telemetry data using an anomaly and threat detection logic (122) to detect an anomaly indicative of a security threat, and performs a security action using a security action logic (124) based on the detected anomaly. A forwarding and filtering logic (126) of the roadside unit (120) transmits telemetry data that has not been determined to be associated with a security threat to a cloud server (130), which aggregates the received telemetry data, by way of a telemetry aggregator (132) and another RSU inputs logic (134), with telemetry data received from at least one other roadside unit, and stores the aggregated telemetry data and any associated historical attack-pattern data in a cloud storage (136). Figure 1 is the representative figure.
