MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441101504 A) filed by Privasapien Technologies Private Limited on December 20, 2024, for A System And A Method For Unstructured Data Risk Assessment And Risk Quantification.
Inventors include Abilash Soundararajan; Susmit Das; and Ajinkya K.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: A system and a method for unstructured data risk assessment and risk quantification is disclosed. The system (100) receives documents, audio, video, or text from local or remote sources and securely uploads them to a data repository (130). A composite entity detection technique (135) combining pattern recognition, an entity reference repository, and a trained language model identifies and classifies personal, quasi-identifiable, anonymized, and pseudo-anonymized data. Contextual sensitivity (140) is derived using statistical and linguistic correlations, enabling dynamic computation of individual risk scores (145). A document-level index (150) and normalized density metric are generated to quantify sensitive-data concentration and categorize the document into high-risk, moderate-risk, and low-risk segments. The system maps detected risk attributes (365) to regulatory frameworks, identifies compliance gaps (370), provides safeguard recommendations (375), and displays results through an integrated governance dashboard (155) for continuous compliance monitoring.
