MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641059527 A) filed by Blastem Industries Private Limited on May 11, 2026, for A System And A Method For Vehicle Safety And Traffic-Responsive Driving Assistance.
Inventors include Kadali Bala Krishna; Prudhvi Raj Bommakanti; and Ramesh Gunnam.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: A vehicle safety co-pilot assistance system (100) comprises an in-vehicle hardware module (200), a server platform and database module (300), an artificial intelligence decision module (400), and a mobile application module (500). The in-vehicle hardware module (200) acquires vehicle telemetry data and communicates with the server platform and database module (300) for receiving contextual data including traffic data, weather data, GPS-based legal speed limit data, and road attribute data corresponding to current and upcoming road locations. The artificial intelligence decision module (400) generates an AI model predicted optimal speed, an AI model predicted safe speed, and a risk index, and derives a control-grade adaptive speed decision signal. The system generates alerts, executes vehicle speed control through ECU-based control and/or a speed control actuator assembly (700), detects crash events, and transmits emergency alerts through the in-vehicle hardware module (200) and/or mobile application module (500).
