MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641095962 A) filed by Vels Institute Of Science, Technology And Advanced Studies Vistas on August 07, 2026, for A System And A Method Of Healthcare Big Data Risk Identification Using Lstm-Grnn.

Inventors include Anitha R; and Bagavathi Lakshmi R.

The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system (100) for enhanced analysis of healthcare big data for high-risk healthcare data identification. The system (100) includes a healthcare data input module (102), a health-risk data repository (104), a data pre-processing module (106), a Min-Max Z-Score normalization module (108), a Social Spider Optimization based feature selection module (110), an optimized feature dataset generation module (112), and a Long-Short Term Memory-Gated Recurrent Neural Network classification module (114). The system (100) normalizes healthcare data, removes redundant and noise-generating attributes, and generates an optimized healthcare dataset comprising selected healthcare risk features. The Long-Short Term Memory-Gated Recurrent Neural Network classification module (114) identifies sequential dependencies and long-term risk-indicative patterns using a recurrent neural network unit (116), a long short-term memory unit (118), an input gate (120), a forget gate (122), and an output gate (124), thereby generating high-risk or low-risk classification outputs.
