Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND A METHOD TO ENABLE MULTI-MODAL, PRIVACY-PRESERVING MISSING PERSON DETECTION AND FAMILY REUNIFICATION USING HYBRID IDENTITY FUSION, EDGE-AI PROCESSING, AND ADAPTIVE CROWD INTELLIGENCE IN MASS GATHERING ENVIRONMENTS The present disclosure relates to a system and method for facilitating real-time detection, tracking, and reunification of missing persons in large gathering settings. The system has a multi-modal architecture that includes a client interface, smart wearable devices with RFID technology, a multi-modal sensing infrastructure, and a processing unit that can create and analyze identity data. The system uses a hybrid identity fusion method that combines facial embeddings, positional data, gait patterns, and behavioral traits to come up with a composite identity confidence score. An adaptive crowd intelligence engine predicts how people will move to find likely places, and an edge-based processing architecture makes sure that the system works quickly even when the network is changing. A multi-layer verification system makes it easier to identify people, and a secure embedding vault makes sure that data is kept private. The system also lets resources be allocated automatically and securely reunified through authentication protocols. This makes it a scalable, reliable, and technically advanced solution for large-scale environments.
