Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND A METHOD TO MONITOR AND ADAPTIVELY PRESERVE FARM PRODUCE DURING ELECTRIC VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION The present disclosure relates to a system and method for monitoring and adaptive preservation of farm produce during transportation by an electric vehicle. The system comprises a) cargo zones, b) sensing nodes, c) load-sensing platforms, d) a pulsed air-sampling manifold, e) a common gas-sensing chamber, f) an adaptive preservation assembly, and g) a processor. The processor correlates respiratory-gas concentration, produce mass, temperature, humidity, airflow, condensation, and vibration to detect physiological or mechanical stress and localize a cargo zone of deterioration-origin. The processor then selectively directs the conditioned air flow, deploys an isolation barrier, removes ethylene, controls moisture, releases stored thermal energy, or adjusts vibration damping. A vehicle energy interface orchestrates refrigeration and thermal-storage operation according to battery state, traction demand and regenerative energy availability. Reference-air calibration and reverse-purging enhance the reliability of the sampling, and follow-up measurements confirm the efficacy of each preservation action. The disclosed arrangement reduces the spoilage propagation, mechanical damage, refrigeration-energy consumption and quality loss and improves the transportation range and preservation of farm produce during transit.
