Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND A METHOD TO OPTIMIZE CHARACTER MOTION AND REAL-TIME ANIMATION RENDERING USING MOTION-INTENT PREDICTION AND ADAPTIVE COMPUTATIONAL ERROR CONTROL The present disclosure relates to a system and method for optimizing character motion and animation rendering in real time. The system is fed with sequential states of characters, skeletal transformations, control inputs, scene conditions, camera parameters, information about hardware-resources, and display-refresh timing. The processor predicts motion intent and joint trajectories, contact events and prediction confidence, maps dependencies between skeletal joints and mesh regions, determines regional significance and assigns positional, angular, deformation and screen- space error budgets. The processor performs skeletal solving and mesh deformation selectively, validates the resulting pose against contact, anatomical, collision, balance and temporal-continuity constraints, and locally corrects non-compliant regions. Allowable residual errors are progressively corrected and registered. It has a hardware-aware scheduler that maps animation and rendering operations based on resource availability and a display-refresh deadline. The system detects projected graphics errors, selectively re-processes the affected areas, renders a constraint-validated pose and synchronizes the composed animation frame to a display-refresh event, reducing recomputation, latency, memory traffic and artifacts.
