Abstract: A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADAPTIVE SEWER INTELLIGENCE USING BEHAVIOUR FINGERPRINTING AND CASCADE FAILURE PREDICTION The present invention provides an adaptive sewer intelligence system and method for predictive sewer monitoring, early failure detection and proactive municipal wastewater management. The system comprises a multi-parameter sensor acquisition unit to acquire hydraulic, physical, water quality and environmental data from sewer infrastructure; a Sewer Behavior Fingerprint Module (210); a Fingerprint Drift Detection Module (211); a Cascade Propagation Matrix Module (212); a Treatment Capacity Assessment Module (213); a Sewer Resilience Score Engine (214); an Autonomous Intervention Selector (215); a Preventive Maintenance Sequencing Engine (216); and a Municipal Action Plan Dashboard (217). The acquired data are analyzed to create behavioral fingerprints, identify abnormal behavioral changes, forecast cascade failure progression, assess treatment capacity and compute a sewer resilience score representing the operational status of the sewer network. The system suggests preventive intervention actions and prioritizes maintenance activities for proactive sewer management based on the calculated resilience score. The invention improves prediction accuracy, decreases sewer blockages and overflow events, better plans maintenance, fully utilizes municipal resources and provides for reliable, efficient and sustainable wastewater infrastructure management.
