Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED COST-EFFECTIVE SMART MUSHROOM CULTIVATION UNIT WITH SUBSTRATE INTELLIGENCE, MICROCLIMATE DIGITAL TWIN AND ADAPTIVE YIELD OPTIMIZATION This disclosure is about a system and method for automating smart mushroom farming that is cheap and uses substrate intelligence sensing, microclimate digital twin modeling, and adaptive yield optimization. The system has a chamber for growing plants, environmental sensors that keep an eye on temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, and light, and a substrate intelligence sensing module built into the substrate that can find moisture, pH, and metabolic heat. A processor and memory work together to turn the data into a substrate health index and a digital twin model of a microclimate that can predict what will happen. The processor uses real-time and predictive data to control an actuation module that includes humidifiers, ventilation units, temperature control devices, and lighting systems to keep the best conditions for growth. The system also has ways to optimize resources so that water and energy are used more efficiently. The method allows for ongoing monitoring, predictive analysis, and adaptive control. This makes yields more consistent, lowers the risk of contamination, and offers a scalable, cost-effective way to grow mushrooms.
