MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521113811 A) filed by Sujit Shivajirao Khakale on November 19, 2025, for A System And Method For Breathing Guidance And Control.

Inventor includes Sujit Shivajirao Khakale.

The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BREATHING GUIDANCE & CONTROL The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for breathing guidance and control. The system (100) comprising a microcontroller unit (MCU) (102), plurality of electronically actuated nasal valves (104) and the rhythm intelligence engine (RIE) (103). Physiological sensors (105) are provided to detect HRV (heart rate variability), SpO2 (pressure, oxygen saturation), airflow, and temperature wherein the MCU (102) integrated with the RIE (103), modulates airflow patterns based on real-time physiological data and predefined breathing programs. Further the system (100) performs four phases of breathing based on actuation of the left and right valves (104) according to predetermined timing ratios (a:b:c:d), wherein valves (104) are controlled by duty-cycle-based control algorithm and measures performance of the breathing phases to learn the user’s breathing pattern and adapts timing parameters of each breathing phases to personalize the sequence w.r.t the user. {FIGURE 1 & 2}
