MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611117519 A) filed by Ms Innovationsatss Private Limited on September 30, 2026, for A System And Method For Capacitive Target Detection Using Spatially Separated Electrodes.

Inventor includes Srishti Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for capacitive target detection using spatially separated electrodes. The system (100) comprising spatially separated electrodes (102A–102N), a switching circuit (104), an excitation circuit (106), a measurement circuit (108), and a controller (110), wherein the switching circuit (104) selectively establishes different electrical-field configurations, and the measurement circuit (108) obtains corresponding capacitance-related responses. The controller (110) establishes and adaptively updates target-free baselines, detects a preliminary target indication based on deviations from the baselines, suspends baseline updating, and performs multi-configuration interrogation. The controller (110) determines configuration-specific differential responses, generates a target- response signature, and determines a target condition based on a predetermined cross-configuration relationship between the differential responses. FIG. 1 will be the reference figure.
