Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING EXECUTION OF AN ELEVATOR STOP AT A REQUESTED FLOOR The present disclosure relates to a system and method for controlling execution of an elevator stop at a requested floor. The system (100) comprises an image capture unit (102) configured to acquire real-time image frames of a predefined waiting zone at the requested floor, a processing unit (104) configured to detect human presence within the predefined waiting zone and perform temporal validation across a plurality of frames to generate a presence confidence, a decision module (106) configured to iteratively re-evaluate the presence confidence within a predefined time window and to generate a control signal to suppress the elevator stop upon confirmation of absence across successive validations, and an interface module (108) configured to transmit the control signal to an elevator controller (110), wherein execution of the elevator stop is conditionally controlled based on temporally validated absence of a passenger.
