Abstract: A system for designing reduced-toxicity analogs of natural products. The system (100) comprises a data acquisition unit (101) which receives structural and physicochemical data of natural product compounds and digitizes that information. The toxicophore identification module (102) that detects structural elements. The molecular optimization engine (103) creates new molecular designs which the synthesis feasibility module (104) assesses for their likelihood of successful laboratory production. The biological simulation module (105) creates a model of metabolic and pharmacokinetic processes which uses to gather data for its improvement process. The synthesis interface (106) produces operational guidelines to create chosen molecular design candidates while validation module (107) checks predicted toxicity and performance measurements against established standards. The system uses an iterative feedback mechanism to develop molecular designs that is synthesized which demonstrate lower predicted toxicity than original natural product compounds. This process enhances the efficiency of drug development and chemical production.
