Abstract: A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISABLING A THROTTLE IN A VEHICLE BASED ON SIGNALS FROM INTEGRATED INERTIAL SENSOR (IIS) ABSTRACT The system (101) to disable the throttle based on signals from an integrated inertial sensor (IIS) (103) in a two-wheeled and a three wheeled vehicle, to enhance safety by preventing unintended acceleration is disclosed. The system (101) includes a wheel speed sensor (102) that detects the wheel’s speed and outputs a parameter indication of its motion state, alongside an integrated inertial sensor (IIS) (103) that delivers real-time data on acceleration and angular velocity across three axis, allowing for the determination of the vehicle’s angle of inclination. An ABS ECU processes this data comparing it against respective pre-defined threshold values stored in the memory 105 and disables the throttle if any deviations are detected. The vehicle control unit (VCU) also manages critical vehicle functions, supports emergency alert (107) features to notify nearby services when the throttle disabling functions is activated, significantly improving rider safety.
