Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DUAL INJECTION TO ENHANCE AEROFOIL PERFORMANCE IN AIRCRAFT The invention pertains to the field of aerodynamics, specifically enhancing aerofoil performance in aircraft through a dual injection system. The system comprises an aerofoil with a top surface and a chord length, featuring a first injection point at approximately 33% and a second injection point at approximately 66% of the chord length from the leading edge. A mass flow control system is connected to both injection points, ensuring identical mass flow rates to manipulate the boundary layer over the aerofoil. The system includes a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model using Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations coupled with the k-epsilon turbulence model to simulate and analyze performance effects. The invention is adaptable for various aircraft configurations and flight phases, constructed from lightweight, durable materials to withstand aerodynamic forces.
