Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and a computer-implemented method for predictive agroecological advisory in natural farming. The system comprises a plurality of Internet of Things (IoT) sensor nodes deployed across an agricultural field to capture real-time agroecological parameters, a communication gateway, a communication gateway, and a localized edge-based processing unit. The processing unit comprises edge-computing hardware configured to execute a Small Language Model (SLM) fine-tuned on a domain-specific dataset corresponding to chemical-free natural farming practices. A data analysis module correlates real-time agroecological parameters with historical agroecological data to detect an agroecological deviations, and an advisory generation module generates a context-aware natural farming advisory using the SLM and transmits the advisory to a user interface. The data analysis module, the SLM, and the advisory generation module are integrated within the processing unit to enable autonomous operation independent of an external cloud server, with local offline operation and optional online access when available.
