Inventors include Dr. Ramani G; Dr. Shrinivas Srideshpande; Dr. Tamilarasan S; Veena M; Akshitha V G; Cg Kruthin Shanmuk Yadav; Dhanyashree G V; and Kaushal K.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION An event-driven multi-agent system (100) and method for desktop and browser automation are disclosed. The system eliminates the brittleness of static macro automation and the state confusion of monolithic language model loops. The architecture comprises a Planner Agent (102), a Worker Agent (111), a Supervisor Agent (117), and a Healing Agent (119) coordinated asynchronously via an Event Bus (122). A hybrid planning engine decomposes natural language goals into a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) in sub-15ms latency (12.18ms decomposition, 14.85ms full planner). A Permission Manager (106) classifies tasks across a four-tier risk matrix (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH, CRITICAL) and gates high-risk operations behind asynchronous human approval. The Worker Agent (111) executes approved tasks across browser, desktop GUI, terminal, and document adapters at 0.25ms dispatch latency. The Supervisor Agent (117) enforces invariant contract assertions Psi(v_i, O_i), and the Healing Agent (119) diagnoses failures against taxonomy C = {TIMEOUT, FILE_NOT_FOUND, SYNTAX_ERROR, INVALID_ARGUMENTS, PERMISSION_DENIED} to execute bounded self-healing with a maximum retry budget K_max = 3.
