Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a software-implemented system and method for frequency-weighted cumulative auditory damage estimation and adaptive hearing risk classification. The system integrates real-time sound exposure tracking with digital hearing threshold assessment to estimate cumulative auditory stress and generate an adaptive auditory risk index. The invention applies frequency weighting coefficients, exposure duration parameters, cochlear vulnerability factors, and recovery intervals to model progressive auditory damage. The system dynamically recalibrates risk estimation using measured hearing threshold responses obtained through digital audiometry screening. Based on the calculated auditory risk index, users are classified into predefined auditory risk categories and provided with preventive recommendations and alerts. The invention is suitable for smartphone platforms, wearable devices, and primary healthcare deployment for early detection and prevention of noise-induced hearing loss.
