Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GEOMETRICALLY OPTIMIZED AIR INTAKE OF A RESTRICTED SINGLE- CYLINDER ENGINE The present disclosure relates to a system and method for geometrically optimized air intake of a restricted single-cylinder engine. The system (100) comprises a venturi restrictor (102), a curved transition section (104), an asymmetric plenum chamber (106), and a runner duct (108) configured to direct airflow toward an engine intake port. The curved transition section (104) and the asymmetric plenum chamber (106) cooperatively redistribute post-restrictor airflow to provide substantially uniform airflow while reducing recirculation and direct jet formation, wherein the system (100) is free from internal airflow-diverting vanes, baffles, inserts, or guide members.
