Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-model digital payment soundbox system and method for payment confirmation, advertisement playback, and centralized device management. A soundbox device includes a main control and processing unit, flash memory, an audio output subsystem including a speaker, and a communication interface operating with embedded firmware, a secure communication stack, a payment notification intake and transaction identification module, a first-in, first-out payment announcement queue, advertisement playback control, configuration synchronization with version management, heartbeat-based device-state monitoring, impression-record generation, firmware update integrity verification, and post-reconnect synchronization. Payment success announcements are sequentially played with advertisement sound muted during announcement playback. Assigned media and newer configuration settings are selectively synchronized, impression records are generated only after advertisement playback starts, and pending payment notifications are synchronized after reconnection across centrally managed hardware variants., and pending notifications are synchronized after reconnection across interoperable hardware variants managed through a backend cloud management platform.
