Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a federated system and method for privacy-preserving data discovery, identity resolution, consent-governed processing, and auditable data management/control in distributed computing environments. The system comprises a hybrid data discovery engine combining deterministic pattern matching with on-device machine learning classification to detect both structured and unstructured personal data without transmitting any document text to external services. An identity resolution engine links scattered findings across heterogeneous file types into unified identity profiles using hard identifier anchoring, positional correlation restricted to structured files, file-scoped fuzzy name matching, cross-language transliteration, and co-occurrence chain analysis. Discovered personal data values are immediately cryptographically hashed and never stored in plaintext. A consent lifecycle engine captures, stores, and dynamically enforces consent at the point of data processing. A tamper-evident audit engine maintains cryptographic hash-chained, append-only logs enabling automated detection of any record modification. The system supports custom model training by non-technical users through visual annotation, with models deployed from portal to edge agents. The system is deployable across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
