The method (500) includes determining a cognitive state of the user (102) based on correlating the behavioral interaction attributes, wherein the cognitive state corresponds to quantified user condition indicators derived from the correlation. The method (500) further includes generating a pedagogical action directive based on the determined cognitive state, wherein the pedagogical action directive specifies the manner in which instructional interaction is to be adaptively modified. Additionally, the method (500) includes constructing an instructional request based on the pedagogical action directive and the cognitive state, obtaining an instructional response corresponding to the instructional request, and displaying the instructional response via an instructional output interface (110).
