The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an electroencephalogram-based assistive communication system (101) for aphasic patients. An electrode assembly (201) acquires blink- induced bio signals of 10–100 microvolts from bilateral frontal locations. An instrumentation amplifier unit (203) amplifies signals at a gain of 500–1000, analogue filtering units (207) filter within 0.5–30 hertz suppressing 50 hertz interference, and a detection and communication unit (209) digitises the bio signal at 250–500 hertz. A blink detection and classification module (213) classifies voluntary blink patterns using amplitude threshold analysis and inter-blink interval evaluation within 500– 1500 milliseconds. A communication module (215) transmits classified commands to user interface modules (217), wherein a speech generation module (219) converts commands into audible speech. The system (101) achieves detection accuracy of 85–90 percent and response time of 0.80 seconds without reliance on machine learning. FIG.2
