Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a cloud-native system and method for providing virtual laboratory environments accessible through a web browser. The system comprises a user interface module for enabling users to access and manage laboratory sessions, an authentication and access control module for validating user identity and enforcing role-based and time-bound access, and a provisioning and orchestration module configured to dynamically instantiate and terminate virtual machines based on predefined templates stored in a virtual machine repository. A serverless monitoring and control module manages lifecycle events, resource utilization, and session activity without reliance on dedicated servers, including automatic termination upon inactivity. A browser-based console access module provides real-time interaction with the virtual machines using web-based communication protocols without requiring local software installation. The system further includes a data storage module for secure storage of user and session data, and an analytics module for generating usage and performance reports. The invention enables scalable, isolated, and reproducible laboratory environments for remote and hybrid learning while optimizing computational resource utilization.
