Abstract: The present invention relates to a secure patient status tracking and communication system designed for surgical environments, enabling real-time, role-based, and encrypted communication between operating theatre staff and authorised caregivers. The system comprises a patient identification module, patient tracking module, secure communication module, central processing unit, user interface module, access control unit, and notification module, all integrated over a secure network. Upon patient registration, the system assigns a unique identifier, tracks patient movement within predefined zones using RFID/BLE or equivalent technologies, and processes this data to generate real-time status updates and predictive timelines. Authorised caregivers receive timely notifications via a controlled access portal, while post-surgery chat closure ensures privacy and compliance with data protection regulations. The modular, scalable architecture allows integration with hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR), reducing manual workload, improving operational efficiency, enhancing data security, and increasing caregiver satisfaction through transparent and automated surgical communication.
