Abstract: packaging stitching line The present invention relates to a system (100) and method of automatic application of identification label or tag (113) with or without QR code on a series of filled bags (114) moving over a means (101) of conveying in a stitching line. The system(100) enables stitching or sealing/welding (depending on bag materials and contents) the tag/label (113) during the bag closure/stitching process, thus saving time conventionally spent on separate stitching of labels. Embodiments of the system can be applicable to flexible packagings, (but not limited to) like flexible bags made of woven or non-woven materials, or jute that may be filled with goods (not limited to) like fertilizers/urea/edibles/grains/flours/industrial raw materials/components or finished goods. The system (100) comprises of a means of conveying (101), (example a belt/chain conveyor 101) configured to feed a series of filled bags (114) in an upright position towards a stitching/closing means (106), synchronized with the speed of stitching. In specific embodiments of the system, the label/tag applicator means (111) may be integrated with the stitching means (106) in the front or rear side. Ref.: Figures 1 and 3
