Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM FOR ADAPTIVE VOLUME CONTROL TO ENHANCE DRIVER ATTENTION A system (100) for adaptive volume control to enhance driver attention in a vehicle function by continuously acquiring real-time and contextual driving data through a plurality of input modules (102). The navigation module (102a) identifies the vehicle’s current location and upcoming road conditions, while the crash statistics module (102b) provides static risk data based on historical accident records. Simultaneously, the sensor interface module (102c) detects real-time environmental threats, the vehicle dynamics module (102d) monitors motion parameters, and the driver monitoring module (102e) evaluates driver attentiveness. This multifaceted data is transmitted to a risk estimation module (104), which synchronizes and processes the inputs to classify each upcoming road segment into a risk level high, medium, or low. This classification is then relayed to the automatic volume control module (108), which adjusts the in-vehicle audio output accordingly.
