Abstract: ABSTRACT A NON ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FOR ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF SOLAR PANEL USING SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY The present invention discloses a non electrical system (10) for adjusting the position of solar panel using the shape memory alloy for tracking the sunlight in multiple directions. The non electrical system comprises a base, ball joint, shape memory alloy, aluminium plate and plurality of counter weight. The panel base (16) is configured to detachably mount the solar panel over the base area for capturing the sunlight to convert it as the electrical energy. The ball joint (12) is configured to provide the movement to panel in multi directions for capturing the sunlight effectively. The shape memory alloy (13) is configured to contract or expand in response to temperature changes caused by sunlight. The movement of the shape memory alloy changes the position of the panel through the ball joint movement. The plurality of aluminium plates (14) configured to surround the shape memory alloy for absorbing heat from sunlight and transfers it to the shape memory alloy for triggering the deformation. The plurality of counter weights (15) positioned with the shape memory alloy strips to balance the solar panel movement using the deformation of alloy due to heat generated by the sunlight. The present invention (10) will reduce the usage of electrical components for tracking the sunlight in an effective manner.
