The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) for automatically sanitizing a smart toilet seat assembly (2) of a commode after use. The system (100) comprises a commode bowl (1), the smart toilet seat assembly (2) mounted relative to the commode bowl (1), a sensor module (50) configured to detect presence and absence of a user, and a microcontroller unit (11) operatively connected to the sensor module (50). The system (100) further comprises a water spraying mechanism including a water reservoir (33), a water pump (32), a water pipe (31), and one or more water spray nozzles (30); a rotating cleaning assembly including a cleaning motor (13), a cleaning ring (20), and one or more brush pads (21); a sanitizer dispensing unit including a sanitizer tank (40), a sanitizer pump (41), and a spray nozzle (42); and an air drying unit including an air blower (60), an air duct (61), and an air outlet (62). Upon detection of user absence, the microcontroller unit (11) automatically actuates the system to clean, sanitize, and dry the smart toilet seat assembly (2) without manual intervention.
