Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) for biometric attendance tracking. The system (100) includes an Internet of Things (IoT) attendance device (110), a processing unit (50), a backend server (60), a central database (80), and a mobile application dashboard (90). The IoT attendance device (110) includes a fingerprint sensor (10), a camera module (20), a display module (30), and a local storage module (40). The fingerprint sensor (10) and the camera module (20) capture biometric data of a user for authentication. The processing unit (50) performs biometric authentication using fingerprint verification, facial recognition, or dual- authentication, and generates a time-stamped attendance record upon successful verification. The system (100) operates in a hybrid synchronization mode, where attendance records are transmitted to the backend server (60) in real time when network connectivity is available, or stored locally and synchronized upon restoration of connectivity.
