The system (100) includes a housing (1) and a holder (2) accommodated inside the housing (1). The holder (2) is defined with a chamber (2c) at one end to accommodate the sample (2a). The system further includes 10 a plurality of beads (2b) movably disposed within the chamber (2c). The system (100) also includes a probe (3) disposed within the housing (1) and positioned proximal to the chamber (2c). The probe (3) is configured to selectively emit ultrasound waves of a predetermined frequency towards the chamber (2c) to displace the plurality of beads (2b) within the sample (2a) for conducting lysis of the sample (2a).
