Abstract: A system (100) for protection of an armored vehicle (200) is disclosed. The system (100) include a power module adapted to supply power to the system (100). A robotic arm unit (101) having a proximal end (104) and a distal end (102) is disposed. The proximal end (104) is attached with the armored vehicle (200). The robotic arm unit (101) is adapted to toggle between a deployed condition and a stored condition such that in the deployed condition the distal end (102) extends beyond an outer surface of the armored vehicle (200) upto a predetermined distance. Further, the robotic arm unit (101) includes a countermeasure module (106) having one or more countermeasure units. The countermeasure module (106) is removably coupled with the distal end (102) of the robotic arm unit (101).
