Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for real-time electrical load monitoring using IoT-based sensor nodes. The system comprises a plurality of sensor nodes associated with respective electrical load circuits, wherein each sensor node includes current and voltage sensing units, a signal conditioning unit, an edge processing unit, a communication module, and a memory unit. The sensor nodes acquire electrical parameters including voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency, energy consumption, and load variation, and process the acquired data locally to detect abnormal load conditions. A gateway or communication interface transmits processed data to a monitoring platform for visualization, analytics, historical reporting, and alert generation. The system detects overload, voltage deviation, phase imbalance, low power factor, and abnormal consumption patterns in real time. The invention enables scalable, retrofit-compatible, secure, and intelligent electrical load supervision for residential, commercial, and industrial applications, thereby improving electrical safety, energy efficiency, and preventive maintenance.
