Abstract: Abstract Title: A System for Solar-Assisted Drying The present invention is to provide a system (100) for solar-assisted drying. The system (100) comprises at least one photovoltaic module (110) having a front surface configured to receive solar radiation and a back surface opposite thereto. A heat exchanger (120) is disposed adjacent to the back surface of the photovoltaic module (110) and transfers heat from the photovoltaic module (110) to a flowing air stream. A drying chamber (130) is connected in fluid communication with an outlet of the heat exchanger (120), and is configured to receive heated air from the heat exchanger (120) for drying agricultural products or food products. At least one exhaust fan (140) is positioned above the drying chamber (130) or in fluid communication therewith and removes moisture-laden air from the drying chamber (130). The heat exchanger (120), drying chamber (130), and exhaust fan (140) cooperate to circulate heated air and discharge moisture during drying operation.
