Abstract: The present invention discloses a stimuli-responsive supramolecular nano- encapsulation system for controlled release of corrosion inhibitors in reinforced concrete. The system comprises sensing elements continuously monitoring localized pH, moisture, and ionic concentration, and a supramolecular nano-carrier assembly encapsulating corrosion-inhibiting agents within a stable host-guest 10 architecture. A stimuli-detection module operatively coupled to the carriers detects conditions indicative of corrosion initiation, while a controlled-release regulation module adaptively regulates inhibitor release based on detected stimuli. A communication and processing subsystem generates analytical outputs supporting predictive analysis and transmits operational information to a monitoring interface 15 and remote cloud platform. An inhibitor reserve management module optimizes activation thresholds across structural regions. The system enables targeted, on-demand inhibitor delivery, providing improved efficiency, enhanced reliability, reduced operational cost, improved safety, predictive maintenance, sustainable operation, and optimized resource utilization for infrastructure protection.
