Abstract: The invention provides a system for surgical site infection (SSI) risk assessment and personalized intervention. The system (100) comprises a wearable wound- monitoring patch (101) having a biosensing module (102). A microcontroller unit (103) processes sensor data and a wireless communication module (104) transmits the processed data to a user interface (105) and an artificial intelligence inference engine (106). The artificial intelligence inference engine (106) analyzes the data using machine-learning models to generate a personalized infection risk score and corresponding intervention recommendations. A clinician dashboard interface (107) provides wound-monitoring information and infection-risk assessments, while an alert and feedback system (108) generates notifications based on identified risk conditions. A data security and encryption layer (109) secures patient-related information, and an adaptive learning and feedback mechanism (110) continuously improves prediction accuracy using clinical data.
