Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPTIMIZER FOR ACCELERATING MACHINE-LEARNING TRAINING The present invention relates to a computer-implemented system and method for accelerating training of machine-learning models. A baseline optimizer generates a search direction, and a booster unit performs symmetric probing of a loss function at negative, zero, and positive offsets along the search direction. From three corresponding loss values, the booster unit derives a candidate parameter-update step by local quadratic interpolation without explicit Hessian computation. An adaptive probe-distance controller, together with damping, trust-region clamping, sufficient-decrease validation, and optional backtracking, selectively commits a validated update. Ref. Fig. 1
